Held on the first Wednesday in February after the end of the shooting season, YAMS has fast become a key date in the UK farming calendar attracting thousands of farmers and visitors.
Monarch Chemicals will be returning alongside Superior Machines showcasing the Perstorp range of performance crimping , silage making and grain preservation products. Superior Machines, who proudly manufacture a range of bruisers, crimpers and mill-mixers right in the heart of Yorkshire, have been working in partnership with us for several years promoting the Perstorp range of products.
The Perstorp range of performance agriculture and feed products are the only additives they recommend for use in conjunction with their machines for their non-corrosive and non-ADR formula.
This year you can find Superior Machines and Robin George, Monarch Chemicals Agricultural Manager on stand SC7 discussing machines and performance additives to suit everyone from small producers through to large dairy and beef farmers and the contractor market.
There are 2,800 free parking spaces on site and for anyone arriving from the West on the A64 there will be signs to the Grimston Bar Park and Ride where a continuous shuttle bus will be taking visitors direct to the venue and back.
With over 230 stands booked for this year YAMS 2020 is set to be the largest show since they began in 2014.
Speaking to the Northern Farmer , Richard Tasker, Manager and Founder of YAMS said "As well as being a show where business is done, YAMS has also become one of the biggest social events of the farming calendar in Yorkshire during the early part of the year. We make every effort to ensure it is easy to get in on the day with a free shuttle bus service running every 15 minutes from the Grimston Bar Park & Ride where everyone can park for free. The bus takes just five minutes to get visitors on the showground."
