CHEMUK 2019 - The UK’s only chemical industry expo and conference will soon be upon us, promising a jam-packed schedule over two days involving 170+ exhibitors from across the industry as well as 70+ speakers covering discussions around health and safety, procurement, compliance and regulations to hot topics from artificial intelligence, digital transformations, improving efficiency and current opportunities.
Monarch Chemicals are proud to be supporting this new event and will be available throughout on stand E4 to discuss our chemical sourcing and distribution services as well as our chemical liquid and powder blending capabilities.
For this year’s show, we thought we’d mix up the traditional ‘drop your business card in the pot to enter a prize draw’ routine and instead use this as an opportunity to raise funds for three incredible local charities; Demelza Hospice Care for Children, The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust and Eva’s Angels.
At the show we won’t be asking for any contributions – instead, all we ask is for you to pop your business card into one of three pots available on our stand and we will donate on your behalf to your chosen charity. For every business card we receive we will donate £1 so make sure you stop by our stand to show your support.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children provides care and support for seriously ill children, young people and their families. Set up in 1994 they now have hospices spanning London and the South East of England as well as a large network of homecare services offering care and support to babies, children, young adults and their families.
The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust is an independent charitable trust supporting people living with diabetes. The trust has funded the building and equipping of a diabetes care centre in Ashford and provided financial support to build and equip a further two centres in Maidstone and Margate. All three centres provide a base offering care, treatment, screening and health education for people living with diabetes.
Eva’s Angels is a micro charity, set up by two parents whose five-year-old daughter lost her life to a rare childhood brainstem tumour in 2017. They raise money to provide short breaks for the children and their families who are affected by childhood cancer in order to offer respite and create precious memories away from the hospitals.
To donate to any one of these three incredible charities, all we ask is for you to drop your business card into one of three pots. That’s it. Money calculated from the number of business cards will be donated directly to each charity after the event. So please take the time to visit us during the event.
